02/21/2011 - Welcome to your first assignment! You will be creating a work of art to hang in our class museum, The Jimenez Museum of Me. Our museum specializes in art that tells a story about the artist who made it...YOU!
For this project you will need:
-Poster or Posterboard
-A picture of you
-Markers, colored pencils, crayons, or even paint
-Glue
-At least 5 other images that represent you
-Any other decorations or items you wish to include
Design your poster to reflect your personality. Personality means all the things that make you who you are. On the poster, you must include:
-5 adjectives to describe you
-An acrostic poem using your name that tells facts about you
-The 5 images that represent you
-Your photo
-You should choose a color scheme of your favorite colors. That means if your favorite color is blue, you can make some words blue, use blue in your pictures, or even make your poster blue. I should be able to tell your favorite color just by looking at the poster.
Remember:
-Make your poster neat and easy to read
-Make sure you have all the required parts on your poster
-Be creative!
This project is due on Tuesday, March 1st. We will be visiting our museum the next day!
